Acting PM Austrie tells Police Officers to prepare to address CSME challenges

Acting Prime Minister Reginald Austrie says police officers should be prepared to aid in addressing the security challenges to be faced with the implementation of the Caribbean Single Market and Economy (CSME).
Austrie was at the time addressing the graduation ceremony of 32 police officers from the 28th recruit class of the Dominica Police Training School in Morne Bruce on Friday.
Meantime Austrie told the graduates that discipline should be their guide to achieving successful careers.
At Friday;s ceremony the 28th recruit class along with its instructors made a cash donation of $ 1000 EC to the charitable organization -the House of Hope.
The monies were collected at Church services held by the recruits during training.
The total was then matched by the training instructors.
Representative of the House of Hope Hyacinth Alexander expressed his gratitude for the generous donation.
